			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The next interactive learning method are discovery and problem solving. Okay lets start it with discovery. Discovery or invention is required to crack down the interest of learners.</p>
<p>Invention or discovery is the term used to replace the term inductive approach to the learning process. In this interaction learners are asked to conduct an experiment that is trial and error in solving a problem. Similarly, the interaction of the tutorial, the form contains a lot of interaction discovery of alternative solutions to solve a problem.<br />
<span id="more-36"></span><br />
In the form of the discovery program, learners can find information and make inferences from some of the information he had learned. Of the learning process does learners can discover new concepts and knowledge that has not been studied previously.</p>
<p>Problem Solving<br />
Forms of interaction such as this gives the possibility for learners to train the ability to solve a problem. Learners are required to think logically and systematically in solving a problem. Form of interactive programs provide an opportunity for problem-solving learners to solve problems that are inside.</p>
<p>Feedback remains a very important factor in the programs in the form of interactive learning. Feedback can be used by learners to determine the level of success in solving the problem or issue. These programs form solutions usually contain a few questions. </p>
<p>Learners can try to solve the problem of a higher level after successfully solving a problem with a lower difficulty level. Interactive program is very precise form of problem solving used in science and technology subjects, although it was likely to be applicable to non-exact sciences subjects (social studies). </p>
<p>In instructional media such as computers and interactive video, other forms of interaction that has been presented earlier can not be separated from one another, form a computer program games must contain the questions or problems to be solved (drill and practice) by the learners. Similarly, the form of a tutorial program that includes interactive exercises to strengthen the learners understanding of the learning material. </p>
<p>Media need for Interactive Learning in Distance Learning distance education system has different characteristics from conventional educational practices. Distance education system has six key elements which constitute the characteristics of the system, those are:<br />
(1) the separation between teachers and learners,<br />
(2) the influence of institutions / educational organizations,<br />
(3) use of media that connects teachers and learners<br />
(4) the ongoing two-way communication,<br />
(5) attention to learners as individuals who learn, and<br />
(6) education as an industry.</p>
<p>The use of media in distance higher education institutions to function as a means of connecting between the teacher with learners. This is due to the physical separation between teacher and learner in the teaching and learning activities. Many types of media that can be used in distance learning systems. In general, media are often used as a delivery mode of distance education system is the print media, broadcast radio, broadcast television, computer conferencing, electronic mail (e-mail), interactive video, satellite telecommunications, multimedia and computer technology. </p>
<p>Research conducted on the use of media and teaching methods showed consistent results, namely the use of media and specific method will provide effective results on the characteristics of learners and specific conditions as well. There is no media or methods that can act as a panacea to solve all the problems of learning.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In many interactive program, learners should be able to study some rules in repetitive ways, and involve in game that contain continuous exercise, in order to gain or master number of skills and abilities. </p>
<p>Usually these kind of interaction featuring numbers of questions or problems that varied to be answered by learners. Learners are usually given a chance to try some alternative answers before arriving at a correct answer. Interaction in this form usually contains questions and problems with different difficulty levels. In the form of interaction and practice exercises are provided feedback and confirmation (reinforcement) that are both positive and negative.<br />

Tutorial<br />
On interaction in the form of tutorial knowledge and information displayed in small units which are then followed by a series of questions. Learning patterns in the form of tutorial interactions are usually designed to branching. Learners can be given the opportunity to choose the topics to be studied in learning a subject. The more learning topics to choose from, the easier the program is received by learners. In the form of tutorial learning interaction, information and knowledge is communicated in such a way as the situation at the time the academic lecturer who gave guidance to the learners.</p>
<p>Game<br />
Shaped interaction games will be instructional if the knowledge and skills contained in it is an element of academic and training. A form called a game in which there is an instructional learning objectives (instructional objectives) that must be achieved.<br />
At present many outstanding computer games, which only emphasizes the element of mere recreation. however most computer games do not contain a positive element that helps the wearer to know the workings of a computer that can then provoke the emergence of interest to understand computers (computer literacy).<br />
Examples of instructional games are decision making games in the field of management studies. In this game the most people make decisions that can benefit the company is the winner. As with other interactive programs, games must contain a certain degree of difficulty and provide feedback on the comments made by learners. Learning in the form of a game program, the feedback given in the form of scores or standard scores achieved after a series of games.<br />
In the program there should be a form of game rules that can be used as a reference for determining the person who came out as winners. Determination of winners in the game is determined by the score that is achieved then compared with learning achievement standards to be achieved.</p>
<p>Simulation<br />
In the form of simulated interaction learners are faced with a situation-made (artificial) that resembles the real conditions and situations. Interactive learning programs form the simulation gives the possibility for users to perform real workout without having to face a real risk. A computer simulation program for aviators (pilots) are designed the same as the wheelhouse (cockpit) really is. All instruments are the same as in the wheelhouse aircraft. In this simulation program as if the pilot can raise or lower the plane without having to face the risk of crash.<br />
Numerous computer programs have succeeded in creating a simulation in the subjects of chemistry, mathematics and physics. Simulation on the subjects of chemistry has allowed learners to do chemical experiments without facing the risk of direct chemical poison.<br />
Some simulation program comes with instructions on how its consumer in the form of accompanying material (learning guides). However, many other programs that are not equipped with the accompanying material. Interaction in the form of simulation can be designed in such a way as to meet the learning needs. The important thing to note is the provision of feedback to provide information about the level of learner achievement of learning outcomes after attending a simulation program.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>In the previous article, I have discuss about interactive learning method, so now, lets start discussing about applied interactive method. </p>
<p>There are six forms of interaction learning can be applied in designing an interactive learning media for long distance education system. Other forms of interaction include drill and practice, tutorials, games, simulation, discovery, and problem solving.<br />
<span id="more-32"></span><br />
Drill and Practice interactions is used to train learners to use the concepts, rules or procedures that have been taught before. Through a series of examples of concepts and knowledge learned, learners are given the opportunity to practice so skilled at applying concepts and knowledge.</p>
<p>Another important thing to take advantage of this interaction in instructional media design is the provision of rewards (better continuous). Reward is given each time the learner successfully perform their duties properly. Giving a positive reward to the learning achievement will provide a greater possibility for learners to repeat the success that has been achieved. This is known as reinforcement or affirmation of learning outcomes. The concept of providing rewards and affirmation to consider in designing interactive media in the form of practice and training.</p>
<p>Mastery learning concept is the next ways. In this concept, learners can learn the knowledge and skills of higher only if he has managed to master the knowledge and skills before they graduate the lower level. </p>
<p>Interaction surely shaped the practices and exercises which are generally used for the learning process that requires continuous skills training (drill). Learners are expected to master a particular skill if he did exercise constantly. Concepts in mathematics is one example of an appropriate topic to be displayed in the form of interaction and practice exercises. Another example is the language subjects. </p>
<p>Mastery of a foreign vocabulary and skills in developing effective sentences in the field of language studies can be taught through practice and forms of interaction of interactive exercise. Program aimed at providing opportunities for learners to practice and exercise can be designed in the form of the game.</p>

<p>A long distance learning system having issues which have main characteristic physical separation within teacher and learner. At some point these lack of interaction would reduce the effectiveness and quality of the results. Based on that fact, some education institution creating interactive communication method through many ways.<br />
<span id="more-30"></span><br />
Some ways such as designing attractive learning materials as good as it gets, so that it could be used as interactive learning material. Other ways such as giving tutorial either its man to man or man to many are consider as effective method. </p>
<p>As you could see ordinary tutorial without some tutor or mentor would cause the learner motivation depending on them self, while with direct tutor (although with media such as online/internet mediation) it could increase their motivation.</p>
<p>The key is interaction within teacher/tutor/mentor with learner. In interactive method two ways communication does matter. One of the interactive learning method is by giving material to learner and made the learner giving active respond on the material. </p>
<p>In these case tutor/mentor not just act as material mediation, but also receive feed back from learner, and also giving reinforcement through the result of the study. </p>
<p>Interaction is one of tool to fix or remedial, so in case there&#8217;s some update on the material discuss earlier, tutor/mentor could clarify the issues.</p>
